Time is a pressing matter in this world. When you squander your time, there is less time to do the things you really care about. If work consumes the majority of your time, the other aspects of your life will suffer.

Take a look at your daily schedule. Are there things that you from your daily schedule? Can you delegate any specific tasks to others in order to free up more time on that schedule? Delegation is a great thing to do when it comes to managing time. Let those tasks go and you’ll have more time for your own tasks.

Stay organized and on task to make your life better. Don’t let yourself get distracted by all things shiny. People often hand you more tasks when you’re still not done with one and demand you are finished. Don’t allow anyone to do that to you. Complete the task before accepting another one.

Remember that there simply is not enough time to do everything you want to do. It’s just about impossible to do so. Only a fifth of your activities produces 80 percent of your results. Try completing what you want but also realize that you aren’t able to do it all.

Make an honest assessment of where your time is best spent. Figure out how long each of your projects will take you to complete. Allocate yourself a specific amount of time to work on each task. By doing this, you’ll probably begin to make more effective use of your time. If you receive unexpected blocks of free time, try using them to do other tasks or take personal time.
